Just curious as to how many of us use the male voice v. the female.

Personally, I set it to female the day I got the car, but I may switch it up today just for a change. I wonder if the car will feel new again.

Female!

 

Female. A voice that tells you what to do seems like it has to be female by default!

 

I'm Ok with taking verbal direction from a sexy woman. Male voice just pisses me off!

 

When I got the car three months ago it was set for the female voice and I haven't bothered to change it. Maybe I'm just lazy.

 

It isn't really a general forum topic, because if you don't have navi, you can't answer the poll questions, and if you do, you should be looking in the navi forum anyway, so I set my navi (which I don't really have) for BT/Navi and it told me how to get there.

 

I wish there is a 3rd vioce option : gay - like one of them in "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"

 

Female - although my wife hates it when my car says, "Temperature, max hot"! rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroowwwwwwwwwwl

 

I switched mine to a male just to see the difference. although now I need to change the name of my car.

 

I use the female voice for the NAVI, but I use the male voice for the HFL.

 

I think the male voice sounds better, and I named him jeeves.

 

 

Just name the car Pat or Chris or something and you will be covered either way.

 

I've used the female voice so far. I refer to it as "my new girlfriend." My wife needed directions this morning for an errand she was going to run and Mapquest had it wrong. I said I would ask my girlfriend.

 

I use the male voice because my last car's NAVI only had a female voice. After 3 years I wanted something new. But I do use the female for the HFL.
