Navi voice issue
My 06 TL had developed an interesting problem. On some days/instances, the navi voice will gable (please see the attached video) and on others, it will sound just fine.
FM, AM, CD, DVD-A, XM , sounds always good as far as I can tell (no garble voice).
Any idea what could be the problem and what is causing this intermittent issue? Any idea how to fix it? I appreciate any information and help.

I don't recall reading about this issue before, but suspect that the DVD and/or drive might be the issue.
You can eject the Navi DVD, check it for damage (such as scoring, per TSB), clean it and clean the drive's lens to see if that clears up the problem.
One caveat: if the drive is going out, it may not want to re-load the DVD after you eject it to clean the lens.
G/L.
