Navi touch-screen problem
I have had my '04 TL Anthracite for 14 months (>18,000mi) and yesterday, the navi touch screen stopped working properly. If looked at carefully, there is a slight rainbow haze over the screen and it is insensitive to touch for the most part. I can still use the toggle, but not with much success. It works as though something on the screen output is shorting out. Anyone out there have similar problems?? Took it to the dealer to make an appointment and, as usual, their answer is: "First time I've heard of that!"
The dealer will have to figure it out. I had my navi screen replaced last week at the dealer because the outide temp on the MID stopped working. My cost was zero and I had a TL loaner, they figured it out, fixed it and I'm happy. Hope yours works out to.
Since I've owned my TSX, the bottom left region is unresponsive (ie. I have to press the same 'button' 3-4 times before the system recognizes). It's gone to the dealer, and they claim it's working. I'm about to pick the car up now, but they said it's working 'ok' without replacing anything. Hmmm. Will have to see.

It also happens on my car.
I think it has something to do with memory reading time. Wait before you press buttons.
I think x y z is my problem area.

I finally took it in to SantaMonica Acura. Took a bit to explain and convince them that the screen was faulty. But, after five day, the screen was replaced under warrantee and is now working as good as new. They treated me well!
