FYI...

I brought my 07 TL in to the dealer for service and mentioned that the nav screen flickered slightly, especially when the car was just started. They checked, saw the problem, and they replaced the screen under warranty at no charge. The paperwork said it was a $1,900 job.

 

i've had this happen a few times in my 07 TL-S too, but i'm sure if i told the dealership they'd give me the whole, "we can't recreate the problem" line.

 

They told me it is not a common problem, but it can't hurt to try.

An issue that can be repaired by a dealer must be able to be verified by the dealer. If we cannot verify it than we leave it up to the person who has the complaint to verify it. Otherwise you are taking shots in the dark.
