Navi screen display remained dark

I have an early build (3000-range) with nearly 18K miles. Yesterday I had a problem where my navi screen would remain off. I'm used to seeing a dark screen initially as I usually don't respond to the advisory screen quickly enough. In that situation, depressing the map or audio buttons will cause it to come up. Yesterday, however, no matter which button I pressed, the screen would remain off/dark. I pulled off to a side street, shut off the car, and restarted. The screen seemed to flicker a bit when I shut the car off, but it did come up without issue upon the restart.

I searched the forums and didn't see any similar reports. I'm not going to lose any sleep over this unless it continues to occur.

navi system is like a computer, it has flukes, one day mine just blanked out on me, nothing worked, a simple restart of the car, thus rebooting the navi solved it. Nothing to worry about, probably wont come back
