how do you set or find out what the codes are of your car? i just purchased a used 2005 WDP TL/Navi.

Check the glove compartment- the radio and navi codes originally were on cards with detachable stickers placed in the owner's manuals pouch with the manuals and warranties.
If not, the codes might be on little stickers adhered to the side of the glove compartment door.
Otherwise, check the spare tire compartment tray and finally the Acura Ownerlink site to see if the codes were already registered there.

 

If you can't find it in any of those places just give the dealer a buzz. You may have to prove that you own the vehicle but it shouldn't be a big concern. Usually if you're not a chump they'll help you out.

 

ON the gen 2 cars we have to get the serial number off the back of the radio- taking that and your reg in to dealer will get you code for free
