I was gonna buy the 2007 navi disc 4.55a.. I currently have the 04 disc.. not sure the version.. Am i gonna have problems with this disc or can i just slide her in and be off???? thanks!!!

 

What color is the existing disk?

 

4.55 won't work for your car. That's for 2007/2008's only.

You have to upgrade within your own "family" of Navi Updates. If you go to the Acura site to purchase Navi disks, it'll tell you which is the current version for your car and what the updates encompass.

Choose the "Order Navigation DVD" box and then enter your car info. Your current version will be in the frame on the left.


Didn't have it on the other PC I was using.

 

If you have an 04 I think your disc color has to be orange...not 100% sure though.

 

Yea the most recent version for 04-06 TLs is version 3.70 and is an orange disk. acuranavi.com is where you would order them but they have been unavailable (sold out apparently) for the last couple months.

Does anyone know the difference from the first 04 navi disc to the latest version?? Is it worth getting.. other then the new roads that has been added.. any new cool features??

 

Double check the above website, but I think the biggest changes in the latest version will add one way street icons in 1/20 view (can be turned on/off), the male voice is deleted, and there's a daylight savings time update. There will be mapping and POI updates as well.
