Navi not appearing when car started
Has anyone had intermittent problems with the Navigation System on 2003 TL not starting up when you turn the engine on? The dealer replaced the hard disk but we are still experiencing the problems. Their next plan is to replace the display. Is this a good idea?

Just had this happen to me for the first time yesterday
I stopped and restarted the car and the navi appeared again. Very weird.
Radio worked, and the clock display worked, but none of the navi buttons made noise when I pushed them and the display didn't appear. It was as though a fuse was dead in the nav system, but not in the radio. But since it restarted fine, obviously not a fuse.
Basically with anything electronic having trouble, my first instinct is always reboot.
