Navi issues with 2007 TL typeS
Sorry to bug you guys... I rarely post, and I was hoping that perhaps someone could assist me with a problem I am having with my navi....
A Navi disc for a 2010 TSX was uploading into my system, and it did not work.
When the original disc was put back, the following error is received.
Currently, a disc has been inserted which is older than the downloaded program. Please check disc version.
My biggest fear is I will have to go to the dealership to fix this and they will end up bending me over. I have the extended Acura Care Warranty, which I am not sure if this is covered under it.
Is there some type of reset or button combo I can push to reload the original disc?
Any suggestions/tips?
Thanks for your time and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I did a couple of things... I had previously done research on this site, and found the hack thread & the $99.00 2011 v4.92 thread... Right after I posted the question I wasn't sure if the "secret menu" options would work, so I went ahead and ordered the $99.00 DVD.
I found directions to get to the secret menu. 1. Hold down MAP/GUIDE, MENU and CANCEL buttons for 5 seconds and attempted to reload the disc, and it worked.
So after it came back up I had buyers remorse, but from what I am reading, the old disc can sell on ebay for almost the same price as the new one. Its a win/win, I think.
Thanks for your time and Happy New Year!
