Navi Hack Files Here!

I know I have put this on so many threads but I hate when they get more than 5 pages deep and you cant find that one link.

So here it is. I'm trying to get one of my developers at work to come up with a fix for the OK button. I will let you know this week if he thinks he can hook this up for us.....

Well, good luck, but I can bet that nothing will come out of it.
I looked into Navi hacking with a programmer friend. Navi computer is based on SH4 CPU, so it is not possible to run Navi software on a PC, and it is dificult to make any progress without ability to run the application. There is a company in Germany that makes a development SH4 based PC, but the thing looked too expensive for a hobby project.
Navi computer also has a diagnostic connector, but I don't have service manual pages describing it's functionality. If it is a serial port, it may be possible to connect a terminal to it and have a command line access to the computer.

that connector is in the trunk behind that carpet, where the NAVI harnesses go into the drive, it's a 2 pin connector, which does nothing else, but let you boot the NAVI system into the diag mode. it's for when the software is completly messed up, and there is no other way of booting it up.

Do you know what this diagnostic mode is good for?

it's the same menu you can get by pressing map, menu and cancel. it's nothing special just the diag menu. check it out if you haven't. you can't really do too much to destroy the navi system

I'm not sure that's entirely true. Bysin stated the following when explianing why he did not include the file he was able tocreate (that skipped the "OK" button):

"I didnt include the navi-nonag.exe or any other modified files with the zip because its copyrighted by Acura. All files that you wish to update you'd have to modify yourself. But I'm sure anyone with a SH-4 disassembler and a hexeditor can figure it out how to remove the nag screen. I'll give you all a hint, 0x0900 is nop."
