I have been having a problem with my navi freezing, taking along time to calculate paths, telling me i am on unverified roads while i am on major expressways. i had the unit replaced twice now, same problem, so now they are saying that acura has seen an increase of this in the past month or so and they are saying its enviromental. I am in the Long island/ny area. anybody else have this problem?

 

I can't imagine any environmental factor, except flooding, that would cause that behavior. Have they replaced the entire navigation system, including antenna, or just certain components? Maybe there's a bad connection in the wiring which causes extremely brief power fluctuations. In any case, don't accept their answer. Make them fix it.
