Navi FM modulation
Hey I was wondering if anybody w/ Nav has had FM modulation done to their TL? I was thinking about it due to the lack of the AUX input option and this Wireless FM modulator is KILLING me. I was also thinking about doing it myself if its not too complicated. Im going to take Audio installtion school next month. Its like 15 hours of installing and learning how to do mobile audio. then 7 more hours of mobile video the week after. ALso, this is kinda off topic but does anyone know if a power wire and a speaker wire is the same thing? I need a 16 gauge power wire.
btw I know its off topic and its in the wrong forum. Also, Ive made 300 posts! Woohoo!

Hello! The FM Modulation option is a good one for splicing an iPod type device into the audio system if you can't wait a few more months for the aftermarket to introduce a true Aux solution.
The sound quality will amaze you, and you won't have any of the signal drift / battery life issues that plague the wireless FM Modulators either. I had this in my '00 RL and it was terrific. With the TL's XM radio, I find that I depend on my 4000 song MP3 collection far less than when I had conventional radio as the only option. I don't think it's something you should attempt yourself. Let the pros do a solid job and you'll be much happier; especially if you want the headphone jack wire hidden someplace cool like the armrest.

Blitzsafe AUX box
I was talking to a tech a Blitzsafe today and he claims that they now have an an adaptor that will work for AUX input on an 04 TL w/nav. It plugs in between the head unit and the navi unit. Supposedly, you press the CD button twice to select that source. The part number is: HON/SNY ITI V.2
Anyone heard of this or used it successfully? It sounds like a great solution.
