Navi Disk

So I just jumped aboard the Acura train and found this community... then I saw all the tricks I could do with the Navi!!! Hacks, upgrades, etc.. Tech geek dream. Only problem is I have no Navi Disk (used car). Besides buying one (which I may do anyways because my software is outdated) is there a way around it for the hacks (prob not) or a way to cop one for free (the year I have, not a new year obv)(prob not again)?

As in is it possible to get a disk (the one that is loaded on your system already) from maybe the dealer for "free?"

1) Dealer should have supplied a disc with the car unless disclosed or agreed otherwise, i.e. "As Is"-- the Navi is a pretty major feature of the TL.

2) New Acura discs are sourced through Navteq, which sometimes drops the regular $181 price to $149 (w/o shipping).

3) Cheapest way to get an updated disc is to buy it from a member who has upgraded to a newer disc. Check the Black Market section for someone selling a prior version. You can create a "Want to Buy" post there as well.

'04-'06 discs are version 3.XX and imprinted in orange; current version is 3.91 IIRC.
'07+ discs are imprinted in white and designated 4.XX.

Hacks will not work with certain updated versions-- check the threads for hack files and issues.
