Wasn't there a thread around here a while back with tips on how to more effectively use the nav (mine is an '06 with the Orange DVD) to search for various businesses, and have it return businesses that are actually close to your current location? I'm struggling with having it return businesses 2000 miles away.

I'm not having any luck locating said thread with the forum search feature for this today...please no smart remarks saying "well just search the forums better" etc please; thanks in advance.

When searching for a business, the best method I have found so far is:

Choose:
Menu --> Places --> Category --> Search by Keyword --> Sort By Distance.

The hard part is getting the right category and/or Keyword.
