I've searched and searched, and I can't seem to find the answer. I have a 2005 TL with navigation. Previous owner replaced the battery, so it's asking for the security code. Entered security code, nothing. Verified the serial # and code match, still nothing. And when I hit Menu/Map/Cancel, nothing happens. I'm trying to determine if it's a screen issue, disk issue, or what...

Anyone with literally any input will be greatly appreciated!!

 

so when you start the car, does the navigation screen turn on?
how are you entering the code? on the screen?
if so, what happens after you enter the code.....

need more info, possibly post a video of what your experiencing

 

Nav screen comes on, goes to screen to enter security code. I've used both touch screen and the toggle to enter the code. Everything I put in says "incorrect pin".

 

yeah so your pin is incorrect LOL

 

That's what I figured too, but I've verified the PIN with Acura. Is there a separate serial # for the screen? My only thought is if a previous owner swapped it out and now the screen and DVD unit do not match up, causing the issue...
