Mystery Killswitch

While working on my car today, I found what seems to be an aftermarket switch near my OBD input by the drivers footwell. I switched it on while the car was turned on but nothing happened. Is there a way to figure out what it does/or was meant for? It's on a 2008 Base.

Back in the older days I had a switch like that that turned off the brake lights. Just keep looking or pull the plastic panel down and trace the wires.

Is there an aftermarket alarm installed?

If not, then that is the flux capacitor turbo switch.

My guess is valet switch for aftermarket alarm, but it still could be the FCT switch...
