i hope you didnt change from the first box to the second because second is def a FAIL, exposed cap=fail, exposed wires=fail non flushness=fail, exposed magnets=fail

Type r's perform better in ported boxes.

They're spl subs, port them.

Cap is also useless.

 

Can someone please explain what the cap is for? Iv never really understood

to put it simply, it charges up and holds a reserve voltage, so all your electrical isn't taking such a large drain directly off your battery
