My JL audio 8w3 sub install gone bad... Need Suggestions for new setup

Well as you all know my first setup didn’t last. I was ok with losing some trunk space so I bought a 12 inch alpine sub and had a box built for the trunk. The bass on the other hand is more then I will ever need. I'm not even using a quarter of this sub's potential and it sounds so much better.
