Here's my setup..

Hifonics Brutus 1606D - 1100 @2 ohm
JL 12" W6v2

JL Cleansweep
Kicker 4channel ZX.650
Diamond Audio 6.5 Hi End Coaxial D661i speakers
(BLOWN)a/d/s 346cs 6.5 component speakers

I'm looking at some diamond audio D661s. Are those pretty reliable? And can they take the power that my amp will supply? I don't want them blowing up on me like the a/d/s.

My budget is $150-250. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

I hate cars

I've beat the hell out of my Image Dynamics CTX65 components. Running more power than they're rated for and even full range once in a while and they take it very well. I like silk dome tweeers because I like to listen at high volumes and they don't fatigue my ears that bad yet are still detailed. I think they're one of the best in the price range. Haven't found a bad review.

how did u blow the ppi's?

i had them on 500 per in my moms car and they loved the power
