My custom trunk and upgraded sound system is finished

Hi, I just had my custom system completed by Mobile Electronics of NY (vsokolov) I picked up the car two weeks ago but had to comeback to get the plexi glass part for the trunk. The system sounds awesome and the car is much better now. The Dynamat that was used to kill all the rattles and noises made the car much quieter at faster speeds plus it makes the front speakers feel like little subwoofers. I think they did a great job considering my budget constrains. My budget only allowed $3000 for all the work and equipment. I didn’t want anything crazy and I wanted my car to look stock should a thief or anybody looks inside. I love the interior in my car and didn’t want anything taking away from its looks and functionality. The job only took five days to complete. Everything was designed in such manner that it could be removed in a few minutes. Briefly: The system was built using DLS component speakers, Directed Amplifiers, Directed Woofers, and zero noise wires from Streetwires.

I know that atleast five (two door kits) were used. The used dynamat inside the door and out plus the rear deck and trunk lid and some parts in the trunk.

That looks really nice! I'm surprised, though, that they used plywood for the enclosures and not MDF.

When I asked the installer he explained that the material is more ridgid. Plywood also makes the bass more responsive and harder hitting. I really like the box's I used to have conventional MDF boxes and this seems better.
