YESTERDAY MY VERIZON V710 BLUETOOTH PHONE THAT I've had for a few months has worked flawlesly up until yesterday. I had my phone paired successfully with the car. My friend sends me a text msg, the car thinks its an incoming call. I open up the handset to read the msg, then hang up the ringing from the steering wheel. He texts me again and I do the same thing. I attempt to make a phone call from the car. I press the phone icon button on the steering wheel and the womans voice that asks who would I like to call doesnt play. My music has stopped playing. I tried pressing the cancel button but nothing. Where the radio station displays it just shows "PHONE." In the mid it shows my signal strenth and battery meter. I turned off my car then restarted it now the radio is playing again. Tried to attempt to make another call but same thing occurred.


Anyone expierence this with their car?

 

Remove the handsfree link from the 710 and pair it again. Hope that works.

 

Today I got in my car and it works again. Must of been a glitch or something.

 

Same thing happened to me. Couldn't get the phone (T616) recognized. Started to drive home and stopped for milk. Hopped back in the car, started it up and there was the phone icon on the radio. Glitch for sure.
