Well I just called Cush Acura of Escondido (I know a couple people bought their music link from their ebay parts store) and they want they typical $200 or so for the adapter, but they want $400 in addition to that for installation.

I flat out laughed at the guy and said that can't be just for labor, and he gave some long BS excuse on why it costs that much to install... How much has everyone else been quoted for?

 

I got mine installed today in a 2006 TL with nav for 330 dollars, parts and labor!
That guy had to be way off on his quote. Id go somewhere else.

 

Yeah I have be soooooooooooo turned off by this dealership for so many reasons... I only bought it from them because my credit union had a good intrest rate at the time for that dealership only.

NOBODY go to Cush Acura of escondido or san diego... I have had them flat out lie to me and con me big time... I refuse to deal with them anymore, and will do anything I can to convice other people the same.

I'm going to try calling other dealerships to see what they say.

Oh and get this.. they said that price was their "cost" for labor... when I bought the car right after thanksgiving they told me I could buy it "at cost" when it came out... what a freakin joke...

 

ive heard many good things about acura of escondido.....scott the guy who sells the stuff on ebay...hes amazing to work with...but they are under new management now...so...things might be different

 

Yeah, I called Tischer Acura in Maryland Thursday and they qouted me $520. A bit much! It ain't that serious!

 

Yeah I should have given him credit.. I did talk to him briefly and he was the only honest guy I talked to..
