MPx220 and Cingular

I did a search on this forum and didn't find much on the MPx220. Does anyone have this phone and how does it work?

Specifically, is it hard to hear when using this phone outside the car or traveling at highway speeds (I currently have this problem with the phone I have now)? Also, does it pair well with the TL and work with the shell closed?

Yes I have a Motorola MXpz220! I got my phone link to car without any problems.
Does not show battery life. But connects and works perfect.

I have the Moto MPx220, too, but on T-Mobile. The phone paired easily with the TL. No battery or signal strength, though. I have an occasional issue where I can hear the caller but they can't hear me on my first call after starting the car up. It's really sporadic, though, and resolves itself by the time I redial.

VC - I agree w/Cosmos - the phone is crystal clear over the TL's hands free link. Using just the phone itself, the sound is reasonable. That could just be an issue with my handset, though, as I've read the early version volume issues have been resolved in the phones they're selling now. Yep, it has speakerphone, but I haven't had much of an opportunity to play with it. The camera is...a typical cameraphone camera. Not the greatest (1.2MP), but it'll take an image for you. Some have had better luck than me getting good pictures out of the phone so I think I need to adjust my light settings or something... Finally, the only mpeg I've watched on the phone was a preview for The Chronicles of Riddick and was actually surprised by the quality of the image and sound considering it was playing on such a small source.

The MPX220 works well with the TL. It doesn't show the signal strength or battery but it does show caller id #. This looks like an issue with the Windows software, no big deal. Make sure you get a newer version of the phone which works very well (firmware 1.3 has a black dot on side of box). Earlier versions have all kinds of issues. Overall great phone.
