MP3 player choice and connectivity

For all you's guys that have MP3 players connected via the aux input:

1. What kind of player do you have and why did you choose it?
2. Any connectivity problems?
3. What other cables are needed to play it through the head unit?

For me, I'm thinking of getting the Sandisk Sansa e280.

you could do the complicated behind the dash setup.. or the $5 SOLUTION... just using a headphone jack to aux jack cable

2. No problems with a USA-Spec adapter (wish I had a dice for text display)
3. The Y-Cable because at the time I had XM.

what kind of connection is that aux input that's located inside the armrest/console?

Did the $5 option with an iPod. Well actaully more like the $25 option.

Got a decent peice of Moster Cable for the headphone jack and some (cheap) holder/charger thing.

Works fine for us, but then again it's only for the convienence of the kids' iPod when were on a trip, not for daily use.
