I have a '05 TL w/ nav and I'm looking to play the music off my iphone in my car. Originally I was considering either getting an integration kid like USA Spec or PXAMG installed, but I realized I'll probably be getting the next gen. iphone when it releases (which I assume will be in the summer based on previous release dates). For now, I think I'll consider going the cassette adapter route. Has anyone had experiences with these? How is the sound quality? I live in SoCal, and the FM transmitters just don't work at all. The quality is terrible and there's always interference. Are cassette adapters any better?

 

they are terrible, fine for some people but you get distortion when the volume on the iphone is higher than 50%, i just bought an isimple adapter today ...cant wait to install it, i have subs in my car and cant stand it anymore.

for a temporary time i guess it will work...but i believe the new iphones will still be compatible.

 

Hmm...how do you know the new iphones will be compatible?
