Mounting Cell Phone

Hey guys, quick question. I know that our car has the HFL for use with a bluetooth phone. (No problem, I paired it just fine.) But I was wondering if any of you guys have a "phone mount" or holder/cradle for your phone in your car and if so, where did you guys mount it.

I have an iPhone and find that I accidentally leave it in my car/like seeing who's calling (ie. their Name/Picture versus just their phone number pop up on the HFL) and am trying to find a place for the mount but it seems that a lot of the "territory" in the TL-S are taken by either buttons or speakers (ie. on top of dash).

(oh and plugging into aux/charging using the 12V is lesser of a concern for me than a good placement location!! )

Did a search on this forum that linked me to one alternative:

But IMHO it doesn't look as "slick" >.< sorry.

So just wanted to throw it out there and see what people thought a good placement would be, and/or if you have a phone mount already, where you put it! Thanks guys!!!

Ya, something similar to the picture you posted is the ONLY thing I can think of. Umm I DOUBT you wanna do this, but put some velcro on the back of your phone and put velcro in the location where you want the phone to be. I know it would be a demise to your iphone, but I dont know what else

On a side note, you gonna love the ATLP when you get it!

Maybe you can make your own?
For me.. I just place my phone in the cupholders.
Personally I don't like the HFL. It sucks on the o4... I say "delete" and it asks me if I want to dial, wtf? Then again.. the guy before me used the HFL.
But yeah!
Just go custom make your own, make it out of FB.. or CF =D

Check out the proclip. (www.proclipusa.com) I have this sitting in the same spot as above. Its cheaper. Doesn't look that bad. I use it for my phone so i can see who is calling as well. Doesn't take much space and is easy to install/remove.

Here is a dumb question, if I plug in the phone charger under the armrest plug, and I want for my phone to be in the cupholder area, how do I get the wire there? The armrest doesn't close with the wire there, is there a special "hole" I should know about

Also, whats that white plug inside the armrest?

Like i said stupid questions, but I don't know the answers, lol...thanks!

I think there is a little notch to run the cable through to run it out of the arm rest. I remember seeing this in another thread. I never checked it in my car but you can maybe check it out.

ChattTL85, gotcha looked weird, thanks!

And I guess there are groves in the felt tray to run the wires out of the armrest?

Cool, learned something new, nice
