Motorola V710 or TL Issue?

When I used to get a call, I could answer it over the car's system or if I needed privacy, I could just use the phone itself. Lately, I'm unable to answer my calls using the phone. The other party can't hear me and I can't hear them. This is happening whether the car is running or not. I would get home and remove the key and then the phone would ring. I wouldn't be able to answer it using the car but when I pick up the phone...nothing.

Anyone else having this problem?

Have you tried to redo the "pairing" of the 710? Try that and respond back.

Rjs...I re-paired the phone and it seems to be working. Thanks!

Apnorm,

I recently purchased Mot. V710. For some reason I could not see my battery indicator and signal indicator on the Driver Information Centre. The screen is now blank. However, the bluetooth systems works fine. The battery and signal indicators displayed fine on the Driver Information Centre when I had Sony Erricson T610. Do you have the same problem? Please let me know.

Thanks,

Thanks,
Will,

I never had that problem but a co-worker of mine did. He had to go back to the carrier (Verizon) and have them reprogram/update the phone. He had warned me about this before I picked up the car but I when I bought the car everthing was fine. I just assumed that Verizon/Motorola must have fixed the problem before I bought my phone. Hope this helps.

You will need the latest firmware version(1.40 OR) from Verizon in order for the battery and signal meter to display correctly. I'm wondering if Verizon will even service a V710 now that they have a lawsuit regarding it.
