I have an '04 TL. When I bought the car, I also purchased a Seimens S56 from Cingular and it worked quite well with the TL. All features such as the battery indicator and functions such as "transfer" worked great.

I recently got a new Motorola V551 from Cingular. It "paired" correctly and I am able to make calls. However, my battery indicator doesn't show up and I haven't been able to transfer a call from HFL to phone, or vice versa with the new phone.

Is anyone using the Motorola/Cingular V551 with the TL? If so, are these functions working?

RoadDog, just got my V551 last night.. the battery indicator will not display in the dash as you have stated but I think this is a known issue. Not sure if it will be fixed in the future.
I have not tried to transfer calls but I will try that this evening and report back!

 

No battery indicator. Transfer back and forth between the phone and the HFL works great.
