Motorola V3, Mot V551

I saw on the handsfree link website that the v551 and v3 Razr are now on the approved list. What has been the experience of users out there? Sound quality?, ease of pairing? What shows up on the display (all info? if not all, which bits of info?) Thanks

Interesting note, cTLgo. I know v3 isn't displaying its battery, either, but do not know neither do all of Motos. Have to update my sticky list now...

I have a v551. I used it to call my wife and she had no idea I was on a HFL. I told her when I got home because she told she didn't like me driving when it was snowing let alone on the phone.

Boy did I impress her.

She has a V3, I will post when she tests it out on my car. I fear that move as it will be one step closer to her trying to vie for rights on the TL.

I've got the v3 and have had no problems. Pairing it took all of 30 seconds and sound quality is very good. My reception sucks, but that falls on T-mobile, not the phone.

As others have said, no battery signal, but that's no big deal IMO. My Moto v525 also didn't display battery.

Ya I have the V3 as well, and the reception is AWESOME. That being said, has any1 had the problem where they are on HFL and suddenly it beeps and transfers to the phone?. I thought the connection was lost and if I look on my handset, then the call is on there... so i have to "transfer" it back.

Oh.. I don't get caller ID either.

Hey all,
just got a 2005 TL,
linked up my Razor V3 without issue.
Caller ID works, call waiting, but no battery on the dash, which is fine.
Phone links from my pocket everytime I get into the car. Yesterday,
it was in my coat, in the house. I was outside beyond the garage and it linked the phone and I was able to dial.

Awesome.
