mobile zen?!?!? p910!!!!
hello. sony ericsson.com has a small section dedicated to their upcoming release of a p910!!! im soooo excited. except for the fact im gonna have to sell my 900. take some kind of a loss and find a 910 on a deal. please get back to me with any info you get on the 910 as soon as you get it. my main question, is will it have the handsfree profile that the 900 lacks to sync it with the tl? and how much can you get it for me for, and how much can i get for my perfect condition 900?
thanks
thanks

Since it carries GSM 850 now, Ryder1650 just mentioned to me that some carriers in States may sell that phone too. The price could be cheaper soon. IMO.

no headset profile for the hfl unfortunately. It's an expensive phone. I think the first ones coming out will be 900/1800/1900 but I'm not sure. I have a P900 myself and I think at most I could get about 700 or so for it./

so is it worth me selling my 900 for 600-700 and dishing out an extra 300-400 to get this? other than the keyboard. what are other major selling factors?

The North American model is called the P910a with 850MHz, I would wait till this one is out because 1. It will work in 850MHz GSM areas, and 2. there is a better chance of the phone being subsidized by carriers, so it would cost much less than the p900 does (with new service of course).

Looks a lot like the P900, especially from the back. But that shot with the game looks pretty cool.

... but for those of you who use T-Mobile (like me), 850mhz is completely worthless unless you're roaming. I'm not convinced on the screen nor the thumbpad to upgrade although I'm considering to sell my P900 at the moment and get something else for the time being until the S700i comes out. Having an 850 enabled phone is advantageous if you like going on road trips and getting signal in many places that 1900 will not pick up. Alas, the P910a still won't behave properly with hfl.

Personally I think the HFL compatibility lies in the fact the phone runs off Symbian. In fact I do not believe any Bluetooth enabled phone with PDA functionality will work in the TL. I have tried many (including models not availible in the US). Also, if you use T-mobile than the 850 is pointless for you, I wish Sony would just release a QuadBand and everyone would be happy.

Also, T-mobile is not known for getting new phones quickly. Case in point-- the v600, which was out for months before T-mobile released their version. The good thing about this though is T-mobile phones are less likely to have any issues as most would have been corrected prior to release. (Us Cingular / ATT people are guinea pigs).

As for t-mobile releasing phones slowly, I wonder if people want more new phones come out fast with more problems or the cream of the crom with bugs fixed....also some of T-Mobile's releases lay within contractual agreements. It's not all about the customers...politics and corporate climate play a huge factor in what phones get released.

I just wish the S700 had a better camera- 3 MP, 1.3 is very dated, if sony / casio can put 4+ MP into the smallest cameras ever, I do not see why Cell Phones cannot have this.
