Hatchback 2006 Acura TL?

Like what he did with the side-trim [filling the holes]. The single DIN deck looks weak, though.

I would love to hear that system or at least hear it reviewed. 2 IDQs in an IB setup has to sound great. Has anyone else done an IB setup in a TL? I'm very happy with my miracle box and W6s but if I were going to try something new it would be this.

These were taped at a MECA SQ show. The computerized female announcement in the back ground is the MECA software. I will post a link from a car audio site and see if someone there knows who it is.

Good to see 15's IB. I am going to try to do a the samething.

Just a bunch of haters here.

I hate cars: I have personally listened to Neel's Car back in April at a MECA event in Hunington Beach Ca. His audio system would blow the doors off any car in this forum, any car. PERIOD!!!!. I saw him today at a MECA Event in SoCal but didn't get a chance to listen to his car since he's done some more tuning. Even with those 15s it's a pure SQ car. Yes, he did it all himself. He competes in audio SQ and I believed is sponsored by ID Max(I think). His car has been featured in Car Audio and Electronics Magazine (the online version)

Kirk3272. Those 15's sound amazing. He had to do alot of fiberglass work to fit them in. That Rane processor is crazy

I know this guy pesonally. I know he lurks around here...

He did the entire install himself. I met him a year ago when everything was riped apart. He has been competing in MECA events and consistently receives first place trophies for his install and now his tuning is coming together to where he will be hard to beat in his class...thankfully not the same class as me

He's the real deal and a real good guy....

He definitely wouldn't beat Kirk3272, World Champ SQL for a while...

He hasn't beat my high SQ scores yet either, however he probably will soon with the help he is getting from Matt and Eric at Image Dynamics...

King of Pain: I was suppose to be competing today as well, but the upgrades being done weren't finished...hope you can make it to one of the upcoming events later this summer, it's always great to hear great audio systems.

Was it a good turn out?

Thanks for sharing. I'm sure the SQ was amazing. How was the impact of the bass? Or in other words, did it play all the way down with authority? I'm sure you can't share the details, but he did have the trunk and cabin isolated from one another, right?

Well I know that im just saying. I made my car look clean and sound good. Stock system and some subs. Nothing insane or audiophile quality. Just enough, cause I can lose the car or myself at anytime.

I spent some good money and time on my system and it still sucks big time. its completely unbalanced and there is a lot of cancelations occuring. I tryed front firing back firing, double sub single sub, 3sixty.1, front firing with the back completely sealed off and still... well its ok but not up to my expectations.

now thats spending money unwisely. if something is good and you enjoy it and can afford it, then its worth every penny.

Thats a nice setup. That rane processor is serious business. A lot of the best competitors ever used rane. Id must be sponsoring him, I would rather have scanspeak.

Your TL would have made it 4 TLs at the MECA meet. Neel, xxx_busa and myself represented Acura. The was about 8 cars total, small turn out. I really wanted to hear your audio system again. Getting my audio dialed in with that miniDSP. Thanks to xxx_busa for the tip. My soundstage has improved greatly. It's way up on the dash and the vocals are centered, coming right out of the rearview mirror. Lots more detail. Still more tuning to be done.

Good SQ means accurate reproduction of the music from low to high...

Beleive me, everything is done masterfully...unlike cswbiggs who talks a big game, but can't bring it home

Too bad on the showing...

My system is completely different. Entirely new front stage speaks and set-up, much more tuning/processing power (DSP plus 31 band per side), and more stealth then ever

The last I heard you car it sounded good and I'm sure get's better all the time. It's a never ending quest for perfection

I was digging the 15's IB. Have a fresh pair I was wanting to try IB. Want to reduce the weight in the trunk.

When I decided to compete with the car I fabbed up ID horn mounts under that dash. Mini comp 2's to be exact. I was afraid a 6.5 or 7" midbass wouldn't keep up with them so I just went with a 2 way until I could figure out what to do. 5 years later it is still the same. The panels and horns I made years ago are still in the garage now.
