"Mech Error" on disc change

Guessing I have to go to the dealer but asking on here first

Was playing disc 5 and decided to switch to disc 4. Player began making the expected disc change noise but never changed the disc. My guess is it jammed. I wasn't playing any discs with labels either. Dealer is my only option at this point? Are they going to chop my arm off to remove a jammed disc?

yikes! more and more of these threads popping up.

in another thread, one member disconnected/reconnected his batt. and the disk ejected.

you will need your radio and nav codes if you try it.

Doh I didn't even think of this! Thanks for the idea. It still plays disc 5 by the way. It just won't switch discs or eject at this point.
