Mass Loaded Vinyl...anyone got it?

Contemplating adding about 20sqft to the floor of the TL to take out some additional road noise...anyone done this to their TL? Did it make a significant difference?

Just ordered my CLD tiles, CCF, and MLV today. I hear it helps a ton for sound blocking. Nothing but the best either

Haha. Just deadening won't do it. Buy it now! It's like $30 for enough to do both doors! Email Don at SDS and tell him you've got a TL and need MLV for the doors.

I'd do all doors and the entire floor pan in a continuous run from seats to firewell...not worth it otherwise...just gotta consider if it's worth adding 60lbs. to the car...

When's your stuff coming in/being installed?

It's real easy to do; use the heavy duty velcro and it makes the door much more serviceable then the other deadening/enclosing methods.

Haha it seems like never. I've got dead week this week and finals week next week. Then I have a week off (aka summer for normal students)...BUT NO! I have to go to a 5 week summer course in the Rockies for my major. Good thing I enjoy Petroleum Geology and the pay isn't bad lol

But yeah, covering all doors and the floor pan will probably be $120ish shipped. I'm entirely to lazy to look at the dimensions he gave me but the MLV comes in like 54"x41" for $30. I think it'd be a huge upgrade for only 50-60lbs. Maybe you can take a few un-needed things off the car to save weight
