Make Front Components Fit

I bought Diamond Audio D661s 6.5 round front component speakers, unfortunately, they are too big to fit in my TL. How can i make them fit? Or should i just buy a differnet set of front components? What amp should i use to use these speakers?
Thanks

Like too big how? depth, width? You may need to trim the sheetmetal back a bit if the speakers are of a larger diameter than the holes, but "cutting new holes" is not necessary.

I was wondering what amp I should get to drive these front components. Should i go with a 4 channel to drive the front and rear or a 6 channel to drive the front, rear, and center speaker?

Getting Speakers to fit

You should definatly cut the door out to fit the speaker but you will also want to cut all of the white plastic off of the stock speaker and use it as a half inch spacer. Trust me you can fit any speaker you want in that door. I have the Kicker SS Compnents and they are the deepest speaker I have ever seen and I am a professional installer. Now for the amp you certainly should get a four channel you dont need to power the center just let the stock amp do that. But the stock amp is not nearly enough power for any after market speaker. You may want to look into the JL cleansweep, best $250 I spent

Waht exactly does the Cleansweep do? Does it act like an amp? I looked at my D661s and it says 100w 4ohm. How much watt amp would i need?

CleanSweep and Amps

The cleansweep is a digital processor that cleans the output from the factory amp. I works alot like a high/low converter but it automaticly boasts the signal so all the speakers are will send full range to the aftermarket amp. Its like turning your stock radio into a highend aftermarket. You still need an amp, most speakers out there would ren very well on a 100 watt RMS 4 channel. THis is not a sony, pioneer, type amp, it should be a quality kicker, JL, alpine, mtx. It will make a huge difference.
