Made my own THX Demo DVD-A
I just made a THX Demo DVD-A disc from several of my favorite DVDs.
The THX intro (from Toy Story 1)
The Moo THX Intro (from Toy Story 2)
Star Wars 1 Pod Race 3 tracks
Aliens Express Elevator to hell!
Toy Story 2 intro scenes
Matrix III The Dome scene
Lord of the Rings 1 The Party scene (fireworks)
I should have added scenes from The Incredibles...
I Used DVD Audio Extractor and DVD Audio Solo with Verbatim DVD+R discs (LightScribe). I encoded useing 48KHZ/24 Bit even tough I should have used 48KHZ/16 Bit.
The ELS sounds fantastic! I have a very robust Home Theater setup in my home, Klipsch KSP-300s, KSW-12, 1000 watts of system power, etc. The ELS comes close to the same experience, without video!
For a single 8" free-air subwoofer, the ELS pounds! I was starting to agree with all who want to upgrade the subwoofer to an after market setup, but after my demo disc, it isn't the speaker/amp it is the music source(s).
I will have to find a way to increase the bass response in the wav files for regular stereo music to recreate the levels in the 5.1, any suggestions?

nice!, can someone make me a copy, or recommend a good DAD-A 5.1 album I can buy, that takes advantage of the ELS. My used TL didnt come with the demo disc, so I would like to experience the surround,
