I just finished installing the Viper 5902 on my 2005 Acura and now I have no auto windows. I noticed that they stopped working immediately after I wired up the DBALL to the Brown/Black CAN wire because after soldering the wire I tried rolling down the window. Yes, I wired it up correctly and used info from the detailed 5901 thread and also bought the electrical troubleshooting manual.

The alarm is completely hooked up and everything works wonderfully except for the loss of auto feature. I'm not sure if this is something that happens when using D2D or DBALL so just wondered if anybody else had the same issue.

 

Did you try the auto window re-set procedure at any time after the alarm install?

If not, try the reset procedure to see if the auto up-down returns.

I'm getting an alarm installed later this week will be sure to mention that to them. I'm doing either a stand alone Python or Prestige.

 

How do you reset to where all four windows roll up when the key is in the key hole turning clockwise(lock)?

 

There's no reseting that just turn the key twice and hold iirc.

 

I had understood that wasnt possible on our cars..

I haven't had a chance to try it since I'm out of town but I'm pretty confident that's it.
