LCD Picture Quality Vs. TvandNav2go

This past weekend I installed a PNP TvandNav2go module as well as a reverse camera. Once installed I noticed that picture quality is as good as I thought it would be. I noticed that the image and some contrast or brightness issues, as if they were amplified. I tried to adjust the brightness on the TvandNav2go, but it wouldn't work. I've searched the forums, and I changed the ground wires & checked the connection, but still no difference. The image im getting on my nav screen is fine, but it seems as if the module is having trouble w/ shadowing & certain colors. There would be distinct horizontal lines that would show if the module couldn't produce a certain color or shadows. What my question is, is it the module or the LCD on my navigation that's causing this image problem. I mean the LCD navi screen wasn't made for TV quality, just basic images for GPS. So maybe the LCD can't produce certain shadowing or colors. Or is it the module that's causing the issue. I'm not sure what to do. Please chime in for any suggestions, & yes I already searched the forums.
