Alright so I'm not really expecting too much here but I guess it's better to try than just go without even asking,you know? (and please...no flames if this isn't the right area to post this,it just seemed like the best choice out of the forum sub categories.)

I recently purchased a 2005 automatic and it's a great car and all...but living where I live in Miami I'm a little worried about my car's safety...that being said I am planning on purchasing an aftermarket security system however I hate the standard keyfobs for security systems...I was also interested in purchasing a switchblade key for my car so my question is: Does anyone know if it is possible to modify the switchblade key to control the aftermarket security system? or even if it's possible to transplant the circuit board into the switchblade key?
also...if it is possible,anyone care to guess ballpark figures? like the cost for they switchblade and resetting to aftermarket security or having someone do said "operation" on the key?
