Keyless Memory Settings....Help!

I've had my car for about 1 week. I adjusted the keyless memory settings shortly after getting the car. I just noticed that the doors weren't locking. I tried to go into the keyless memory settings and I'm, getting error...."Customizing not available until linked to remote" What's the problem here? How do I "link" to the remote? How did it become unlinked"? Tried serching for an answer but couldn't find one....

I believe the manual tells you how to do it. I had the same thing with my '08. whe you get in he car, push lock, then unlock on the remote, see if it says "Welcome Driver 1 (or 2)". It seems that I pushed both buttons at the same time before it was recognized.

Cool! I am glad to help. I think I just started pushing the buttons on the remote fob until it recognized it.
