Just used my DVD-A for the first time..

I've had my car since 5/24, and when I first took delivery, I immediately loaded up the cd player with the cds from my old car, knowing there was a DVD Audio sampler that came with the car, but figuring I'd get around to listening to it eventually. Well, last week I placed an order for a couple of DVD-A discs that arrived yesterday.

All I can say is wow!!! This just might live up to the hype. I'm by no means an audiophile, but it almost sounded like Carlos Santana and his band were in my car... As I'm sure most of you know, it really does sound amazing.

Now if we can only get a better selection on what's available..

Actually they are on the hood of the car performing live!!

Love DVD-Audio, just wish that there was a wider selection of discs!

Other recommendations:

Eagles - Hotel California
Yes - Fragile
Beck - Sea Change
Flaming Lips - Yoshimi and the Battle of the Pink robots
Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells 2003
Tipper - Surrounded

Once you go DVD-A it is hard to listen to a plain old CD (I dont buy cd's anymore)

Enjoy
