So on the way home to work I decided to stop by my local Verizon wireless store and check to see if there was any new release information. I talked to a guy that I had spoken to a few weeks ago. He told me that he had one for me to see. I figured the phone would be a demo, but he brought it out and it was brand new in the box. Apparently they have a shipment of 20 phones in the back, but are not allowed to sell any as of yet.

The phone was not as attractive/cool looking as I thought it would be. It is a little on the big side and has a lot of platic going on. The camera worked quite well and the screen was really clear. I didn't play with it for more than a few minutes, so I didn't get to explore many of the functions, but I wanted to post to make sure that everyone keeps calling their Verizon stores on a daily basis starting tomorrow. The sales guy claimed that he did not know a release date, but said it could be any time from Friday to within the first two weeks of August. I am assuming that, since the phones are in stock, it should be sooner rather than later.

 

Think your going to make me cry.. I sooo want this phone to work right!
