So i just got my isimple ishd571 in the mail. One question.... how do i know this one is iphone 4 compatable? it does not list the iphone 4 on the side so how do i tell if it has the upgrade to make it iphone 4 compatable?

 

My box doesnt say its iphone 4 compatible but my iphone 4 works without any problems. You will get a little message on your iphone saying that it's not optimized for the phone but just click dismiss.

 

sticker on the control module would indicate the software revision. Mine shipped with 778b, the latest is 788b on PAC's website which fixes issues for iOS 4.1.

I presume it would work on 778 but with some problems.

Updating the firmware is easy too. I updated mine with 788b and it seemed to have fixed issues with my 1st gen ipod touch. Let me know if you need any help.
