Just bought my 2nd TL - a 2005. Upon driving it home I noticed that neither or the HFL buttons do anything. On top of that, the "End" button is not even lit up. Did I get a bum HFL unit? Would a reset fix this?

 

There's another thread about this but there is no real solution, it just started working again. The notable thing is that when the lights go out, so does the HFL. When it worked again, it was lit.

Maybe you could try going to the HFL unit, it's in the upper area where the lights are. Pop out the sunroof switch, remove the screws and you'll see the HFL unit. Pull the connector and make sure they are all seating correctly.

I had a problem with that when I did the navi conversion but I can't remember if the lights were on or off.

HFL can hear me but there is no voice coming out. For example i press a call button on the wheel the music will silence but no bip sound,no voice. Just on display the will be word MAIN. I say pair and the word main would change to pair,but still no voice i can hear. Did anyone of you had this kind of a
problem?
