iSimple & Steering Wheel Controls
iSimple & Steering Wheel Controls
I just had the iSimple unit installed by Best Buy with the PGHHD2 harness (Thanks Travis!) but I have one small issue... I can't get it to work with the steering wheel controls. I try hitting the channel +/- and it won't change the song. I've read that it should, so... has anyone else experienced this?
Also, the one and only thing that I've been disappointed with in the Acura is the volume at which the XM/iSimple, etc plays at, vs when using AUX. The system is MUCH louder using AUX, and still sounds clean. How can I go about getting the stereo a bit louder? I have a sub installed, the treble is +3, the bass is -5 (I allow the sub to take the bass so the high/mid come through better on the speakers). Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

As far as the steering wheel controls, on the TypeS, they do not work as they should. You have to push and hold the CH+ button for 2 seconds to get it to change tracks. I guess the older 3rd Gen TL's work with just tapping the button, as it should.
I keep hoping Isimple will put this in the next FW update, but I'm not holding my breath.
