Hi all. i have 04 TL i just recently installed Isimple gateway ISHD571 with an additional of ISPDC12 cable (as USB port)

it seem that the system doesnt recognize the iphone since i cant play music through the lightning cable, some time the phone cannot be charged when plugged in

any recommendation will be greatly appreciated

I would do a hard reset of the iSimple thats always fixed odd issues for me. Instructions sre on iSimple website

 

i tried to reset it. the device now sometime connected sometime not, it also take a long time to connected. when i unplug my phone it doesnt reconnected. i have no idea why it does that

You did the hard reset by grounding out the large capacitor?

 

yes i did, i discharged the large capacitor. after im done, the button ((Xm)) on the car didnt work, then when it work, isimple still couldnt recognize the phone.

after a while switching the aux and ISPDC12 it suddently get connected and it worked fine. however when i unplugged the phone, i have hard time to get it connected again...
