Okay, so I've searched and searched... I've only seen a couple threads that have some of my symptomatic issues.

My issues include:
-iPod controls are non existant (says Gateway Connection at the top of the iPod... and Ready to Disconnect at the bottom) yet I can play the music fine.
-Songs repeat


Note: I am able to switch songs by the steering controls Channel ^ goes to the next song, but if I have the iPod on Shuffle songs, it somehow manages to go to the next song in the list from the same artist.

 

Forgot to mention that it was acting the way I wanted perfectly fine with iPod controls available one time I started the car but I could not mimic the steps to get it to do so. I think I messed up the settings by pressing buttons to try and get the system to recognize the iPod. Suggest to reinstall the Gateway?

 

You cant control the ipod once its connected. You can press 1 on the radio to toggle the repeat and press 2 to toggle the shuffle. I think thats whats wrong so there is no need to re-install.

 

FYI... I spoke to iSimple customer care and they guided me through the steps to get it to work how I wanted...

SavKyle - You are able to do so... You have to put it on AUX1 rather than SAT which is what I had it on. I'm just not sure how it was switching from external to internal controls.
