iSimple iPod at Night?
Now that I've finally installed my iSimple into my 2008 TL-S I've noticed that it charges overnight. I've read several threads on this. Some people say it's all good and it won't drain their battery and others say their battery drains in three days.
Other than unplugging it, are there no other options to disconnect power to the iPod? What if I change the tuner to FM instead of IPOD?
One last thing: how the heck do you keep your iPod from playing all night long?? Do you put it in sleep mode or do you just hit pause? I woke up one morning to go to work and it had gone through a ton of music...just kept playing all night long. Seems to be awfully abusive to the iPod to keep it running 24/7 to me.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Strange, mine stops when I turn the ignition off. It resumes from the song I left it at when I start her back up.
Left my car in the garage for 6 days without issues. Drove it this morning after leaving it in the garage since Sat. I know for a fact that charging while the ignition is off is normal. Continuing to play however, pretty sure isn't.
edit: there's nothing wrong with leaving it playing 24/7. The only thing that could fail is the ipod itself, but in terms of flash memory, it's virtually indestructible as long as you're just reading from it (vs. writing music to it). I've left my 1st gen ipod touch in the hot baking sun playing music until the ipod's battery died several times (in my old integra with a cassette adapter). The same iPod is sitting charging in my TL as I type. No problems.
