iSimple Help!?!

Hi, i recent installed my iSimple and it works great. However i noticed that when im driving and my ipod is connected it sometimes switches back to xm radio and says "Ipod Connected." Then i have to press am/fm again and back to xm to get it going but the problem happens again every minute or so. When im not driving, it works flawlessly on my itouch and iphone 4. Does anyone have a possible solution to this? Could it be that im not on the latest firmware? I dont want to take the dash apart again if updated the software might not even do the trick. Thank you to anyone who can help me.

I would make sure everything is connected tightly you know. Sometimes those snap harnesses don't clip in too well, check those first.

Is that the iSimple gateWay you have installed? When it does work, does it work good?

SavKyle. Did you just unplug the gateway or every connection? I seem to be having the same problem. Thanks

i've noticed that the volume level of mine is considerably lower than other sources such as radio, satellite and cd. I would say that the sound level of the iSimple is probably about 30% less than my other sources. Aside from that I like it. BUt i just hate that i really have to crank up the volume so much just to hear my music.
