i've had mine for almost a year and no issues. i keep my ipod classic in the glove box and never touch it (only when i need to add music obviously).
cipdagr3at, i don't understand your question. i do know you have to to press the xm button to use it if your on cd or fm mode. and yes you can use the mode button to select i believe. the ch button changes the song and cycles through the options. Or you can use the knob and 1-6 buttons.
also if you do plan on getting the isimple adapter make sure it has the new chip in it to make it work with the new iphone 4. mine doesn't nor do i plan on getting the chip cause i only use my ipod classic.

I've had it for about a year on my 05 non-nav. It's my most satisfying mod. It's definitely worth the price. I had it installed at BestBuy for $50 in addition to the price of it. I use a 5G iPod Video. It stays in my glove box.
