I just had an iSimple installed in 2007 TL with navigation & traffic. I am not quite sure about what steering controls work to control my Ipod. The volume control works, but the channel button used to change the radio stations does not do anything. The only way to advance to the next song on the ipod is to rotate the big volume dial. Should the channel button on the steering wheel supposed to do anything for the Ipod?

Also, since the installation of the iSimple, my real time traffic no longer works. Is there a specific button that used to activate the real time traffic?

I'm having a similar issue with my install on my '08 w/ NavTraffic.

The CH up & down buttons don't skip through the tracks but change the Song Repeat settings on my iPhone.

Any one have any pointers on this one??

Ok, I figured out that you need to hold down on the CH + & - buttons for a couple seconds to get it to shift tracks. This works just fine when my iPhone is in AUX 1 mode.

I now, however, have a problem in 'iPod' mode though...I can't change tracks from the steering wheel or the radio itself, or get the text to display on either info screen even though I select 'Song Title'. And I still have complete control over my iPhone as well and am thrown off by this...I thought that I would lose complete control over my iPhone when in iPod mode?

Any one have any thoughts on this??
